4TekGear Standard Return Policy

These Standard Return Policies (“Policy”) apply exclusively to products purchased directly from 4TekGear (“4TekGear,” “we,” or “our”) through our website. By purchasing from 4TEKGear.com, you agree to the terms outlined herein.

1. Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)
All product returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). RMAs must be processed online at 4TekGear.com.

To obtain an RMA:

  1. Log in to your Account at 4TekGear.com.
  2. Navigate to My Returns within your Account Dashboard.
  3. Select Request New Return in the upper-right corner.
  4. Upon submission, you will receive an email confirmation indicating that your request has been received and is under review for approval.

Please allow up to 48 hours for a customer care specialist to review your request. Status updates will be provided via your Account Dashboard and email notifications. For urgent matters, please contact our customer service team directly.

2. Non-Returnable Products
The following items are not eligible for return and will be returned to you at your cost and expense if received:

  • Products not purchased directly from 4TekGear.
  • Products without a valid, readable serial number, including but not limited to items with missing, damaged, altered, or otherwise unreadable serial numbers.
  • Products returned without all original packaging and accessories, including retail boxes, manuals, cables, and all items originally included with the product.
  • Products from which the UPC code has been removed from its packaging.
  • Products exhibiting physical damage.

By submitting a return request, you acknowledge and agree to comply with this Policy.

Manufacturer-Specific Terms
Manufacturer-specific terms are listed below:

Cisco Systems and Cisco Meraki – Shipping & Returns

  • License Keys & Tracking: License keys are typically emailed within 1–3 business days after order receipt. Orders are not fulfilled on weekends or holidays, and same-day delivery is not guaranteed.
  • Returns & RMA: All sales are final under Cisco’s “All Sales Are Final” policy. Licensing may be returned within 30 days of issuance at Cisco’s discretion. A $5 RMA processing fee applies to all licensing returns. To avoid this fee, you may verify your product sku’s prior to purchase by submitting a Meraki Dashboard screenshot to [email protected], including your account information.
  • Hardware Shipping (2026 Update): Cisco Systems targets “10 Days or Less” shipping for in stock hardware products. Expedited shipping is available at checkout and will be applied once the hardware ships.
  • Partner Stocking Policy: Cisco authorized partners are not permitted to stock Cisco or Meraki products in their own warehouses. This policy is consistent across all resellers in the U.S., meaning the information above applies regardless of the reseller you choose.

Fortinet:
Hardware and software returns are allowed within 30 days of purchase with a replacement order of equal or greater value.

Palo Alto, Brocade and HPE:
Non-cancellable/non-returnable once ordered. All Sales are Final.  

SonicWall:

SonicWall Hardware Returns must be within 30 days of the invoice date. Packaging unopened factory sealed box. Also required are pictures to confirm package condition including seal and label must not be a registered product with SonicWall

SonicWall Licensing Returns must be within 30 days of invoice date. Only Licensing under $3,000.00 MSRP is eligable. License key must not be activated

If the product is defective or damaged it is not returnable, this includes open boxes. In this instance, please call SonicWall Support at (888)793-2830.

Standard Return Policy
Return for refund within: 30 days

Return for replacement within: 30 days of shipment

Restocking Fee: Yes – 15%

This is our Standard Return Policy. Items covered by this policy (those products for which 4TekGear states "This item may be returned for a replacement or refund within 30 days only") must be returned to 4TekGear within 30 days of the shipment date for this policy to apply. “Return” constitutes receipt of the product by 4TekGear, and not the mere issuance of an RMA. 

  • Products must have been purchased directly from 4TEKGear.com.
  • Product must be new with the factory seal unbroken.
  • Out of Policy requests are subject to acceptance by Cisco and 4TEKGear.com. A restocking fee may apply.
  • Products must be returned to the designated location outlined in your RMA request within 30 days of receiving your Returns Material Authorization (RMA) number.
  • Failure to return product within 30 days may result in cancellation of the Return Material Authorization number.

License Return Policy:
Due to the nature of software, software license, and activation codes, returns on these products are strictly prohibited by all manufacturers.

Consumable Item Refund Only

This is our Consumable Item Refund Only Return Policy. Items covered by this policy (those products for which 4TekGear states "This item may be returned for a refund within 30 days only") must be returned to 4TekGear within 30 days of the shipment date for this policy to apply. “Return” constitutes receipt of the product by 4TekGear, and not the mere issuance of an RMA. Consumable items are items such as Ribbons, Labels, Laminates, etc. that are consumed once they are used. The following conditions are not acceptable for return, and will result in the merchandise you have returned to 4TekGear being returned to you: Consumable items that have been opened Consumable items lacking the original packaging.

 

Standard Shipping:
Unless noted otherwise, 4TEKGear ships all items within 1-2 days of receiving an order via fedex ground (typically). You will receive notification of any delay or cancellation of your order. 

License Activation Keys:
Procurement; All Activation licenses will be fulfilled via 4TEKGear's email interface. Please pay special attention to any correspondance from 4TEKGear.com delivered via our website's email system.

License Lead Time: 
Your activation license will be delivered to you within 1-2 business days typically.

 

Pricing Disclaimer:
All pricing subject to change. For all prices, products and offers, we reserves the right to make adjustments due to changing market conditions, product discontinuation, manufacturer price changes, errors in advertisements and other extenuating circumstances.
 
Wrong Product Ordered:
You are fully responsible for what you order. We cannot be held liable for products you purchase that do not work in your environment. We try to provide updated information as much as is possible, but please default directly to the manufacturer's website for official product details.
